Journeyman – The Art of Steve Dilworth

A special event celebrating the Hebridean-based sculptor Steve Dilworth, coinciding with his solo exhibition at Pangolin London, with contributions from his biographer, Georgina Coburn, and a screening of portrait film ‘Stuff the World is Made of’.

Georgina Coburn’s book Journeyman – The Art of Steve Dilworth is the first comprehensive investigation of the life and work of this important groundbreaking artist. Based on five years research, the evolution of his remarkable work is examined in detail, revealing one of the country’s most innovative and significant artists.

On Wed 8 May at 7pm at St. Pancras Room.

    Mr. Sinclair – I am reading London Orbital and I love going to google maps and seeing where your trekking took you back then. My only question is did you know that Raymond McGrath, who designed Finella for Mansfield Forbes also was the architect for St. Ann’s Court which as I recall you thought it was a bit of a white blot on the landscape (I am paraphrasing – i don’t think you were that harsh in the text.) It has an interesting history before the rock stars took it over (Roxy Music guitarist owned it for a while).
