In October and November this year, Test Centre will team up with its roster of writers, recording artists and associates to present a month of events, a rolling exhibition, and a pop-up shop.’The Test Centre’, set in Stoke Newington, London, will consist of a shop and exhibition space curated in turn by Iain Sinclair, Chris Petit, Purge, and Stewart Home. The developing display of film, art, and sound will accompany a new and secondhand book and record shop, also containing specially-produced editions and ephemera.By night our events programme will launch a number of new Test Centre releases, from Sinclair’s long poem RED EYE to Home’s LP Proletarian Post-Modernism, and each evening will be supported by an exciting range of readers and performers.Other listings include: newly prepared film by Chris Petit shown from a Mordant Music ‘Nesst’; film nights organised with The Museum of Loneliness and the 70×70 series, the latter to launch Sinclair’s American Smoke; and poetry readings celebrating a new magazine and forthcoming anthology from our press.
Please refer to our website for further details as they arrive.
