My apologies to Iain and to the readers for posting this so late. Adele Armstrong, the producer, tells me that a conversation I had with Dan Cruikshank (about Geoffrey Fletcher’s ‘The London Nobody Knows’) will form part of a programme on Radio 4 at 20.45 tomorrow (July 8th). (When everybody will be watching the World [...] I’m also due to chat on Midweek (Radio4 ) at 9am on Wednesday morning – promoting the Sunday event at Gateshead. I’m doing a brief interview on BBC2′s Newsnight tonight: about the closing down of the Foundry (bar/art venue), in Hoxton, for another generic hotel development.
