She’s often seen to be having lively debates on the streets of Harlesden. Part urban anthropology, part memoir, part happenings, she has been on over 30 walks and has a column in the local paper, the Brent and Kilburn Times. She has also made a short film, Dance Willesden Junction, where she and 8 friends in red, dance the bleak walkways of the station and see if they can find beauty there…Filmed by her son, Marlon and his girlfriend, Tania, it’s warm, funny and tender.
