SWANLOG DIARY, Tuesday 06 September 2011. Nowhere in particular

06/09/2011
The shooting will be over a 4 week period: launching from Hastings Old Town swan-pedalo pool on Sat 17th September and arriving at the Olympic site on October 14th.
Now Andrew Kötting is off for 3 days to Venice, where his film ‘Louyre, This Our Still Life’ will be shown.
The first week will be at sea, peddling around to Rye. After that the route is open to several possibilities. We hope to be joined on the swan by Alan Moore & Stewart Lee, by Sean Lock, by Brian Catling (among many others).
I hope to be able to send you a few diary entries as we move along, perhaps with images fromAnonymous Bosch (or some other supporting figure).
I will have to leave, just before the end, to fly to Boston on October 14.
But there will be more shooting after the 4 week period, interviews, studio pieces on a fixed swan.
Next summer, just before the Olympics, the whole show becomes at installation at the Dilston Grove Gallery in South London.
