still nothing resolved. We may get a flight tomorrow, but United seems to be at the bottom of the food chain. And every piece of advice is contradictory: ‘you could go to Washington, then Zurich’… ‘Aberdeen is open’… ‘Try Madrid’… ‘Madrid is at capacity’… ‘No boats’… ‘Stay where you are, it’s better than Chicago, better than New York. They’re all sleeping at the airport’… The Ballard scenario is certainly in place. I found a useful book on Hitchcock’s San Francisco. And I’m beginning to think I’m stuck in it…
